The automatic calibration unit in JUNO
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper describes the design and construction of automatic calibration unit (ACU) for JUNO experiment. The ACU is a fully automated mechanical system. It capable deploying multiple radioactive sources, an ultraviolet (UV) laser source, or auxiliary sensor such as temperature sensor, one at time, into central detector along axis. designed primary tool to precisely calibrate energy scale detector, aligning timing photosensors, partially monitoring position-dependent variations.

A novel approach to automatic position calibration for pixelated crystals in gamma imaging
Introduction: The position estimation in gamma detection system will have constant misplacements which can be corrected in the calibration procedure. In the pixelated crystal uniformly irradiation of detector will produce irregular shape due to position estimation errors. This image is called flood field image and is used to calibrate the position estimation. In this work we pr...

متن کاملAutomatic Marker Field Calibration
In many augmented reality applications a marker field (set of markers) is used to define the 3Dcoordinate transformation between the camera and the virtual objects. In most systems, the physical positions and pose of each marker relative to each others need to be measured in advance. This calibration process is often time consuming and inaccurate if done by hand. We present an automatic calibra...

The Department of Mechanical Engineering and Avionics Engineering Center at Ohio University are developing an electromechanical system for the calibration of an inertial measurement unit (IMU) using global positioning system (GPS) antennas. The GPS antennas and IMU are mounted to a common platform to be oriented in the angular roll, pitch, and yaw motions. Vertical motion is also included to te...

Sexual reproduction ensures the continued propagation of almost all eukaryotic species. Two morphologically very different types of cell, which develop exclusively in either the male or female, perform the role of creating a new and genetically distinct organism. In mammals, these 2 haploid cells, the sperm and the egg, meet in the female reproductive tract, interact, and finally fuse to become...
